personality:
Typically a calm and relaxed person, Kimiko is one of the more logical and honestly sensible members of the group. She can be very sweet, and very caring, especially towards those close to her and those in need. Like the other monks, she's got a strong sense of justice, and is one of the more morally grounded of the group-- though there are moments where she gets up to no good in the mischievous sense, it's fairly harmless in the grand scheme of things and she hasn't considered straying from the 'right' path. She's just a teenager, after all, and teenagers tend to cause a little trouble even if they're the good guys.

Which is saying something, because Kimiko can be pretty damn tricky. She's intelligent and clever, and will sometimes use deception to her benefit where she can. Whether this is in a fight or just to get one up on the boys doesn't really matter, though does range in its level of harmlessness depending on who it's against. She doesn't rank higher than Raimundo in manipulativeness, even when he's on their side, but she does best Clay and Omi in this department. Call it feminine wiles, if you like: she does use her gender to her advantage when it calls for it.

Her major downfall is the fact that, despite being a pretty lax person overall, she has a veryveryveryvery short fuse to an explosive, somewhat violent temper. These bursts of anger are typically brief, especially in comparison to Raimundo's flouncing fits of anger where he can hold a grudge, but they are impressive regardless, and will lead to Kimiko lashing out both physically and emotionally. Coupling this with her strong sense of pride and the fact she's extraordinarily stubborn results in a large variety of things that could very well set her off-- the main thing being her gender again, but this time because she's looked down upon for being a girl, and most of the people she's up against (or even around, though the boys tend to know better most of the time) often think that girls are weaker, easier to beat.

So she's left constantly trying to prove herself to everyone, including herself, and may take some risks to do so. In the end, though, she'll own up to her mistakes when she makes them, even if it's grudgingly so, and try to remedy them to the best of her ability.

abilities:
For the basics, it's sort of amusing to note that Kimiko is both a technophile and a fashionista. She can work her way through computers (and PDAs, and phones, and programming for most anything really) and wardrobes with a sort of skill that takes years and years to cultivate. She can isolate certain strings of data (ie; for viruses so she can reroute them elsewhere, such as from her PDA to Jack's system), hack, program, you name it. But she can also put together the trendiest of outfits, and is on top of what's in and what's to become 'retro' or 'oldschool.' Or 'hipster,' really.

Her wit, as mentioned before, also applies as a major ability. She's good at both pre-planning and thinking on her feet, and improvises when necessary.

As a Xiaolin warrior, Kimiko has trained extensively in the martial arts. She uses her size to her advantage with this, and is quick on her feet. But despite her size, she packs a pretty mean punch. Big things come in small packages and all that. It helps that as a Dragon in training, she has the element of fire; those punches can also pack a fireball or two, as can her kicks.

Some of her elemental based attacks are Wudai Mars Fire (which essentially can be a burst of fire around her, or an enhancer to various, ie; kicks, punches, cartwheels, etc), Wudai Fire Shield (what it says on the tin; a shield that surrounds her/her allies that's composed of fire). Her Wudai Weapon is the Arrow Sparrow, a pouch filled with limitless sparrow-like shuriken that light with fire when thrown. Her personal elemental Shen Gong Wu is the Cat's Eye Draco, a piece of armor attached to her shoulder/arm that enhances other Shen Gong Wu; when used with the Arrow Sparrow, it turns the sparrows into some pretty deadly fireballs of birddeath.

weaknesses:
Temper, temper, temper. Kimiko's temper and pride can be used against her easily by opponents, making her a pretty easy target even after all her time spent at the Xiaolin Temple. She can reign herself in, but if you keep pressing buttons it's pretty damn hard to give her the focus to do so. She can also be pretty stubborn and headstrong, so there are moments where she'd likely deny that she was bothered and try to keep going, making it easier to egg her on.

Despite being a little thing that can pack a big punch, she's something of a glass cannon in comparison to the other monks. Sure, she's more resilient than the typical teenage girl, and her stubbornness will have her trying to get up time and time again, but it'd be pretty easy to incapacitate her when she's matched up against some heavy hitters or those that're far more experienced than her.

There's also the given fact that fire can easily be extinguished by pretty much every other element out there; water dowses it, air can blow it out or be taken away from it, earth can smother it. Nevermind that, with her temper, it could also get a little out of hand if she's not careful with it.

And, of course, there's the fact that her father and friends can be used against her just as easily as her temper and pride can be. She'll do just about anything for them, even if it puts her at risk.

other information:
The way Jami and I are sideeying the whole aging up shenanigans is that the Sands of Time, a Shen Gong Wu that allows its user to travel through time, was being manhandled during a fight between the forces of evil (or simperingly pathetic, in the case of Jack), and when used alongside the Golden Tiger Claws, which allow one to travel through a sort of pocket dimension to get from Point A to Point B, they got their asses dropped in Prolecto.
